Markus Schürholz

He brings over two decades of experience in developing companies as CFO and restructuring distressed assets as CRO
Markus began his career at Haniel Group where he held various management positions including five years as an expatriate in the US, Taiwan (start up) and Italy
As Managing Director Finance at ratiopharm International GmbH he achieved significant growth in international markets
Thereafter, Markus held the position as Director Finance at Douglas Holding AG followed by four years as CFO of ESCADA AG
Then, Markus served almost three years as CFO of Praktiker AG where he managed to refinance the company twice in a distressed situation.
In 2013, Markus joined Scholz AG as CRO. He successfully restructured the group leading to the sale of a major stake of the company to a Japanese investor in June 2014
As of October 2014, Markus served three years as CFO of SAG Group GmbH, the leading energy infrastructure provider in Germany and Europe. He successfully refinanced and turned around the company leading to the sale of the whole SAG Group to a French public listed company. Afterwards Markus held the CFO Position at Landgard e.G.
Since 2019 Markus is the CFO of CABB Group GmbH. He managed to refinance the Group twice by also turning around the operational business successfully
As of January 1st 2025 Markus will serve as CFO for Adapa Group, a leading international player in the flexible packaging industry
